it’s me it’s obviously me.
No coaching prompts this time — just some unhinged late night musings 😘
A river running Through my veins A tributary My heart’s remains As a tribute to the part I played It was the longest run on Broadway, babe A ribbon hidden That secret place Flowing, choking My blood, replaced It comes, it runs Off cresting waves Misread confluence of blues and grays If you’re the source— Surge forth, Purge shores But one fork flows South And the other goes North And for what it’s worth My storms blend earth From the muddy bottom To the topmost berth So the river takes space And rough waters erase The truth of no proof in Reality’s gaze And yet, it’s engraved In the banks of a strange Body of water Self fulfilling, Estranged
